Health is the greatest gift one can have, no matter your age. According to the CDC, there is currently no vaccine to prevent Covid-19, the coronavirus that is currently ravaging the world. That’s why we need to keep our health in its best condition, so that our immune systems can work properly to prevent ourselves from getting sick.
And it’s not just for Covid-19 – we should try to maintain our immune system at its peak, so that we stay healthy always!
How to use essential oils:
Diffuse them at home
The best way is to use an electric diffuser, which is safe for kids and keeps the temperature consistent (if compared to a candle burner).
Dilute and use on pulse points
This is especially useful for essential oils that help to clear up the respiratory system, like Tea Tree and Eucalyptus. Make a small batch and store in a roller bottle for easy application!
If your nose is feeling a bit stuffy, prepare a big bowl of hot steaming water (as comfortable as you can stand). Add a few drops of essential oil and place a towel over your head as you breathe in the steam. If you have a bathtub at home, you can also enjoy a good soak while you do this.
Make a room or linen spray.
Make the best out of your alone-time during the RMO. Create your favourite blend of immune-boosting essential oils and make your own room or linen spray. If you add essential oils with antibacterial properties (like Tea Tree, Lavender or Lemon), you can also use it as a disinfectant spray to wipe down your yoga mat and sweaty surfaces!
